Appreciate Your Teachers!!

It's Teacher Appreciation Day today... did you appreciate the
teachers in your life? TAD always falls on the Tuesday of Teacher
Appreciation Week. If you haven't, don't worry - you've got all week!

(Click Photos To Enlarge)

These are the goodies that are in the brown lunch bag shown above.
All of the supplies I used for this little combo are Stampin' Up!
Some of the accessories are retired... but not these great stamp sets! I used
Greeting Card Kids, Thank You Kindly and Apple Blossoms (love this set).

(yummy chocolates inside)

This cute little red box is from the Candy Countdown Calendar Kit
that was featured in the 2010 Holiday Mini Catalog. I just love these
boxes! I used them for Christmas, Valentines Day and now Teacher
Appreciation! They were such a deal and hope to see them again next year!

I used a clear envelope to wrap up some cute little note cards and a
magnetic note pad. The ribbon is Real Red Polka Dotted and it's retired :(

The card was quick and simple, but I just LOVE it! Probably because
this is one of my favorite stamp sets. Its was the very first one I ordered
from the new catalog last year!! And speaking of new Catalogs... I can't
wait to see what's in store for us in July!! Look for my retirement game soon!!

Hope you enjoyed my projects for today, any questions - let me know!

An Award?! For Me!?

My new friend Julie gave me this award. While I don't think I'm
very deserving, I am very thankful!! So I would also like to pass it on. This
is my first blog award and I thank you very much Julie for giving it to me!
Now I have to pass it on to 5 wonderful bloggers and list 3 things about myself.
These are just a few of the sites I go to for inspiration. Hope you will stop
by their blogs and be inspired too!
Don't forget to checkout Julie's Blog too!

Now, three things about me....

I waste more time on the computer looking at stamping
projects than actually stamping - LOL!

I have an English Bulldog named Angus and a
Toy Poodle named Jewels! Love my puppies!!

If I'm feeling blah - I watch my favorite movie
of all time - You've Got Mail. I've seen it a zillion times :D

I made this card a month or two back and I'm finally getting around to

Color Challenge !

After a little hiatus, I'm back and getting inspired by
Create with Connie and Mary's color challenge CCMC146!

I am really loving this color combo! It's bright and fun - that's why
I chose this super cute stamp set to go with it. This is a level 2 hostess
set called Long Fellows and it won't be around much longer. This one
retires with the release of the new SU IB&C coming in July 2011.

The greeting I used comes from the Chic Boutique stamp set.

Supplies Used

Stamp Sets: Long Fellows and Chic Boutique
Inks/Markers: Real Red, Pumpkin Pie, Pacific Point and B. Black
Card Stock: W. White, Real Red, Pumpkin Pie and Pacific Point
Other: Stampin' Dimensionals

Hope you like my entry. Any questions, let me know!

So many sets, So little time....

There are so many great new products in the new Stampin' Up! catalogs.
I find myself wondering where to start... what sets should I play with first?!

Well, today I'm going to share some of my latest creations and also some
I received from fellow stampers! Lots of inspiration today - so get ready!!

This card used the new Heart Press Letter Press Plates,
Create A Cupcake Stamp Set, the Build A Cupcake XL Punch
and Smooch Pearlized Accent Ink in Moonlight.

To go along with this card I made cute little Cupcake
to hold a special Birthday treat!

I used the Perfect Setting Die, Baskets and Blooms Die, Pretty in Pink
striped grosgrain ribbon, Early Espresso grosgrain ribbon, SU Buttons,
Linen Thread and the 2 1/2" XL Circle punch.

Here is another awesome card using the new Create A Cupcake
Stamp Set and Build a Cupcake XL Punch.

I received this card from my 2nd upline Lynne Aikins and just LOVE it!!

Lynne used a Z fold and the Spring Time Vintage DSP
found in the New Occasions Mini Catalog.

Although I don't think I can get enough of the Cupcakes... Let's move
onto another new favorite: the Take A Spin Stamp Set also in the new mini!

This is a 5 1/4 x 5 1/4 card using the Crumb Cake cardstock that will
fit great in the SU! Square Envelopes found on pg. 171 of the IB&C!
I used the Take A Spin set along with the Punch Bunch SAB set
and the Messages For Mom set on the interior of the card.

This next card I received from a fellow demonstrator Kim Peles!

She used the Take A Spin and A Word for You sets with our Red
Glimmer Paper, which I hope becomes available in many more colors!

Kim always seems to add more sets to my wish list!
On the interior of her card she partnered our Basic
Rhinestones Jewels (a must have) with the new
You're A Gem set on pg. 25 of the Mini.
I didn't NEED that set until I saw this... now it will
be added to my next order! Thanks Kim!

Wow! A long post today, but hopefully packed full of inspiration for you!
Thanks so much for stopping by and come back soon! Any questions on
colors in today's featured photos, just let me know!
