So Green, Go Green!

My Chloe will be eight this September! We decided to have
her Birthday Party early this year... before school started.
So, this past Saturday we had Go Green Birthday!

I used the new So Green stamp set for her
invitations and for party inspiration too!

(Click Photos To Enlarge)

I also used a couple of retired sets.. the smaller trees are from
one of the 2010 SAB sets and I also used the retired Introducing set.

All of the Invites....

.. and matching envelopes too!

Here is the back of the invite!

Birthday Girl!

The cupcakes were little trees and mushrooms!
Can you guess which set I'm using for the Thank You's??
(Post A Comment if you think you know)

For our party craft each guest made two stamped pins.
These are some of the samples I had - the kids came up with some
great color combos. I love to see how each creation is different!

I also made each of them a little recycle pin to wear!

We used new bottle caps. I ran them through the Big Shot to
flatten them. Above is a pic of the front of the new cap.
Below is a pic of the back of the new cap.

Here is the back and front after they have gone through the Big Shot
and a pin has been glued to the back using Crystal Effects.

Here are all of our stamping party guests!

I hope our party inspires you to get creative and Go Green!
If you have any questions on these projects - leave a comment
and I'll be happy to elaborate! Thanks for stopping by!

Annual Halloween Treat Workshop!

It's almost time for Halloween Treats!! Can you believe it?

(Click Photos To Enlarge)

This year we will use the Fang-Tastic stamp set featured in the
new Holiday Mini Catalog, available September 1, 2010.
Cost is $15. We will make 30 treat holders (shown here)
and 2 teacher treat boxes (not shown) on Sat. Oct. 16th 9 a.m.
You may add add'l treat holders for $0.35 each if you need extra.
These treat holders will hold .6 oz York Peppermint Patties
and the .75 oz Reese's Peanut Butter Cups.
Make sure you have the kind that have a tab at
the sides so they can be stapled into the cardstock.
(See Below) I got mine at Giant Eagle!

The Witch

The Vampire

I know some of you don't like to color -
I will have an alternate with no coloring required
if you choose that option. Just let me know when
you register and I will accommodate you!

See what I mean by the little "tab"!?

I just placed the pattie in the card stock holder and
stapled in place then tied some ribbon around to hide it!

See my Calendar of events for this event and more.
Hope to see you again this year!!
Register with payment by September 29th.

Partial to Poppy!

Yes, I've become very partial to Poppy Parade. If you know me,
then you know that I tend to lean more towards greens and blues.
But, I just can't get enough of this Poppy!! Who's with me?!

This is a card I made for a friend who recently had surgery.

I used the new The Nicest Things stamp set with the
Curvy Verses sentiment set. What a great combo!

Stamp Sets: The Nicest Things and Curvy Verses
SU DSP: Patterns DSP Stack - In Color (#117158)
Cardstock: Peach Parfait, Poppy Parade, Very Vanilla and Watercolor paper
Inks/Markers: Black StazOn, Poppy, Peach, Pear, Blush Blossom, Daffodil
Other: Watercolor Wonder Crayons, Blender Pens and Dimensionals.

Combining two of my favorite things from this catty.. the Owl Punch
and Poppy Parade! Aren't these little guys just adorable!?

Thanks for hanging in there....

It's been a little while since I've posted a creation! Sorry!
Forgive me :) Here is a card I made with more of the
Greenhouse Gala DSP. Yes, I have other paper but I keep
getting drawn in by this! Isn't it just super summery!?

This card was inspired by the card featured on page 130
of the IB&C. I loved the letters on the little tag punch!

Stamp Set: Sweet Shoppe Alaphabet, lower case item#120648
SU DSP: Greenhouse Gala DSP
SU Cardstock: Wild Wasabi (textured), Choc. Chip, Only Orange
Inks/Markers: Choc. Chip
